Since the client pressed the button to proceed with the project several months ago, we have been working closely with NC Architects in developing the design on the building envelope and pulling together the relevant sub-contractor packages.
The steelwork, cladding/roofing and the curtain walling contractors have all been determined on the same basis as the Ferrari project was sourced.
Post tender interviews were had with all of the tendering contractors on each package and SOC recommended to the design team their preferred contractor for each element. On this project we decided after much deliberation to go with contractors newly introduced to us over the last 6 months. On the evidence of their input to date and their willingness to work with the design team we believe we have made the correct choices.
We are currently in the middle of sourcing the groundwork packages and interviews are being held this week in readiness for a mid-August commencement.
