The project comprised of extensive strip out, refurbishment and re-modelling of the existing building to create a new joint BMW and Mini showroom space in addition to a new innovative car stacking storage facility.
These works were run in tandem with the strip out and conversion of an adjacent warehouse unit into a state of the art vehicle workshop that included EV and MOT testing facilities.
External works saw the existing car park and hardstandings re-modelled to maximise space and to allow the installation of new dedicated wet valet bays and large covering canopies. Following the installation of new high speed roller and personnel doors throughout, the scope also included the spraying of the cladding to both buildings.
The works were carried out without encroaching on the railway boundary at the rear of the building and the client moved into alternative accommodation during the project.
